Front door security lock

What is a safety lock?

A security lock is a lock made of extra strong material. Often with a thick faceplate to make it extra difficult to drill through the lock. Security locks are SKG-certified and meet all police requirements.

What types of security locks are there?

Mortise lock

The mortise lock is the most common front door lock. The mortise lock is located centrally in the door and is often not visible because it is placed in the recess of the door. Mortise locks are often used for doors that fit completely into the frame. They are known for their resistance to forced entry.

Auxiliary lock

So, auxiliary locks serve as additional security alongside the main lock. Therefore, it's an extra lock for added security. Never use it as the main lock.

Surface-mounted lock

A surface-mounted lock is often found in old houses. A surface-mounted lock is a type of door lock that is mounted on the door. The cylinder is housed in a sturdy casing, making it very secure.

The three-point hitch

The three-point locking system is the most secure lock. Sometimes there are even five locking points. All locking points can be opened and closed with one key. Due to this convenience and security, we definitely recommend this lock.

Choose for optimal security

Whether you choose a mortise lock, a three-point lock, or a combination of locks, a security lock is an investment in the safety of your home. With a good security lock, you'll make breaking in a lot more difficult!
